Prof. Fushuan Wen

Zhejiang University

Brief Introduction: Fushuan Wen has been a full professor and the director of the Institute of Power Economics and Information in Zhejiang University (China) since 1997, a full professor in Hainan Institute, Zhejiang University since 2022, and a research professor in Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen) since 2026. He is also the director of Sanya Global Energy Institute, and a visiting principal research scientist in Shenzhen Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics for Society. 

He has been undertaking various teaching, research and visiting appointments in National University of Singapore, Hong Kong Polytechnic University, University of Hong Kong, South China University of Technology, University of New South Wales, Queensland University of Technology, Brunei University of Technology, Technical University of Denmark, Nanyang Technological University, Murdoch University, Tallinn University of Technology, Hangzhou Dianzi University, Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (CSIRO) in Australia.

He has published 400+ SCI-indexed papers, 750+ El-indexed papers, and 940+ Scopus-indexed papers. His publications have been cited for 26000+ times.

He has completed and is undertaking more than 200 grants and projects from governmental organizations and industry. 

He received several awards both at the national level and provincial level, including the most prestigious National Natural Science Award of China.

He has been listed in "Most Cited Chinese Researchers" in 11 consecutive years since 2015 by Elsevier. He is the editor-in-chief of IET Energy Conversion and Economics, the deputy editor-in-chief of Automation of Electric Power Systems, Smart Power & Energy Security”, “Power Grid Engineering Science” and “Distributed Energy”, a subject editor in power system economics of IET Generation, Transmission and Distribution. He is also on the editorial boards of more than 10 journals.

He was elected to IEEE Fellow for contributions to fault diagnosis in power grids.

Assco. Prof. Rui Zhang

Northeast Electric Power University

Brief Introduction: Dr. Rui Zhang is an Associate Professor at Northeast Electric Power University, a High-Level Talent of Jilin Province, and a Master's Supervisor. He is a native of Jinzhai, Anhui Province. He received his Ph.D. from Harbin Institute of Technology and completed his postdoctoral research at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. He has served as the principal investigator (PI) of one sub-project under the National Key Research and Development Program of China, one General Program of the Natural Science Foundation of Jilin Province, and one project funded by the Jilin Provincial Department of Education. He has also led seven research projects sponsored by organizations including the State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) and the Power Construction Corporation of China (POWERCHINA). He has participated in the development of one technical standard, published one academic monograph, authored more than 20 papers in SCI/EI-indexed journals and the Proceedings of the CSEE, and has been granted more than 30 Chinese invention patents. Dr. Zhang serves as a Young Editorial Board Member for seven academic journals, including Electric Power Construction and Integrated Smart Energy. He is also an Executive Council Member of the IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) Nuclear Power Subcommittee, a Senior Member of IEEE, the China Electrotechnical Society (CES), and four other professional societies. In addition, he serves as a reviewer for IEEE Transactions series journals, the Proceedings of the CSEE, and more than ten other international and domestic journals. He has received numerous honors, including the Grand Prize in the National Silk Road Intelligent Measurement Ecosystem Development Competition, the Provincial First Prize in the China Postdoctoral Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, and the National Second Prize in the Energy Innovation Competition organized by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT). As a graduate advisor, he has supervised students to win more than 20 national and provincial awards, including prizes in the China Graduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling, the Challenge Cup Competition, and other prestigious academic competitions.
